Mast Audiology Services is a private practice hearing healthcare clinic in Seaford, Delaware. We are seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. This position would handle the insurance verification, insurance claims and payment remittance for the office.

In addition, the person would back up the front desk as needed to answer phones and schedule. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and a go-getter attitude. This position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Our office sees patients with hearing loss, mostly an elderly population. You must be able to communicate loudly, clearly and efficiently. You also MUST be kind and empathetic.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all medical billing and coding processes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medical histories.
• Writing with proper grammar and professionalism (emails, etc.)
• Ensure that all patients receive the highest quality of care.
• Schedule appointments and tests for patients.
• Provide patient education on services offered.
• Answer the office phone.
• Collecting payments.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient needs are met.

Experience necessary. Pay to be determined based on length of experience.

Must be well organized, able to multi-task and have the ability to work independently.

Will be expected to be on time (7:45 am- 4 pm with a paid lunch) and dressed professionally. Scrubs will be provided.
